GMHRCH-WR-SR-II Waterland’s Nitro Charged Hurricane Holly

bob boeh

Holly is an amazing athlete, hunter, and pet.   She was born 2/28/2004. My adventure with her began with an airplane trip to Houston, Texas where I picked her up and returned  to Spokane/Sandpoint, Idaho. Dan Hosford was our mentor and coach and took us through all phases of work to build a solid foundation. We worked through Started, Intermediate, MHR, GMHR and now the ultimate GMHRCH (Minot, ND June 2010). Lots of pheasant hunting in Montana, geese in Alberta, and ducks in British Columbia have made her a joy to be around and work. Her qualification rate after MHR has been amazing (95+%) including 2 successful Invitationals and numerous regional events. The destination is gratifying but the journey has been filled with numerous memories of different venues, judges, fellow participants (both dogs and owners), lasting friendships and the list goes on. Holly and I thank Dan Hosford for making dreams come true and acknowledge his role in making us the team we have become. We also thank the NAHRA organization for having such a special program to encourage and enable the working hunting retriever.
