At a licensed field test the judge is one of the most valuable participants. It is often the judges that set the tone of the test, the day and the weekend in regards to the enjoyment of the handlers and the hosting club. - Understand and promote the basic philosophies under which NAHRA was created.
- Have a superior knowledge and understanding of the NAHRA rulebook.
- Represent an appropriate appearance and manner.
- Judge each dog objectively and in accordance with the NAHRA rulebook with out regard of who the handler is.
- Set a good example for potential judges.
